Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a key role in presenting a professional and welcoming environment. In addition to front desk duties, this role supports the finance team by assisting with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Support AR functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding accounts
- Assist with AP tasks, including invoice entry, expense tracking, and payment preparation
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Provide general administrative support to office staff as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or business is a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably with accounting duties
- Basic understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
